| Nature Bakyovo is situated in the midst of a few mountain peaks. Through the village pass two rivers, which eventually come into one where the village ends.  Bakyovo offers superb conditions for hiking and fishing. The forests offer also other surprises such as mushrooms, strawberries and blueberries, wild cherries and others. The usual animals encountered at this geographic location are deer, eagles, lizards and many others.( —> ) |
People As they are mostly older people, they enjoy when their children and grandchildren are visiting. Now and then, usually in the beginning of spring and in the end of the summer, all people get together to celebrate the day of the village (which is by the way not on a fixed date). During those celebrations, people eat together , there is a live band playing and a lot of dancing. |

| Monastery The monastery is named after Saint Nicholas. It is fully managed by Priest Stefan, very popular personality in the region. Priest Stefan is not only responsible for all the weddings, christenings, funerals and house warming ceremonies, but also if anyone has something broken, he is always there to help. He also has very wide knowledge of wine and other kinds of alcohol and is always there for questions. ( —> ) |
Sport and Fun Apart from hiking, Bakyovo offers such a wide variety of sport activities that it should be considered for hosting the next OlympicsSome of the possibilities are biking, horse riding, fishing, archery, pool table, fitness, Bulgarian national dances, tourism and others. ( —> ) |
Hotel The hotel is newly built and just opened doors for its guests in the summer of 2012. It is an interesting building which deserves the attention. Fully in unison with the nature, the hotel is 100% “green”. It uses sun batteries and filters for the water. Non imposing lux, wide spaces, two fully equipped kitchens, fitness, Jacuzzi, sauna, outdoor heated swimming pool, stage for dancing, the hotels offers comfortable rooms for a maximum of 12 people. It is the perfect location for small family gatherings, celebrations, weekends and summer rentals. Each room has its own toilet and bathroom. Kitchen is shared.
